Job summary

UVA Health is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures that support patient care, education, and clinical research in a teaching hospital setting. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited JRC program in Radiography.
• Associate’s Degree in Radiography preferred.
• Licensed by ARRT (R.T.) before start date.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Virginia Driver’s License (VADL) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations following established protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients for optimal imaging.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment with safety and quality in mind.
• Adjust positioning and technique based on patient condition and clinical indication.
• Communicate with radiologists and care teams to support timely interpretation.
• Contribute to a collaborative, professional department culture.
