Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Radiographer to perform diagnostic imaging with radiologic equipment and ensure high-quality images for physician review. You will prepare patient records and assist with procedures under a Radiologist’s direction.

The role requires graduation from an accredited radiography program, NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS. Prior hospital experience is preferred and adherence to safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging and treatment procedures per guidelines.
• Operates and maintains imaging equipment, including setup and sanitization.
• Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address questions.
• Ensure equipment safety and patient comfort.
• Coordinate daily imaging procedures and revise as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
