Job summary

The Radiologic Technologist at Wellstar performs a wide range of Diagnostic Imaging procedures on patients of all ages to assist physicians with diagnostic data. The role works under supervision of a Radiologist or Manager and emphasizes patient safety, accurate identification, and image quality.

Responsibilities include conducting exams, post-processing data, and supporting the Radiology team while adhering to ALARA and aseptic principles.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required upon hire.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Imaging exams across ages while applying ALARA principles.
• Evaluates image quality and records proper patient identification.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Ensures patient safety and adheres to aseptic technique.
• Maintains compliance with Wellstar Health System policies.
