Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a wide variety of diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of all ages. You will work under the direction of a Radiologist or Manager to provide data for diagnostic purposes.

The role emphasizes ALARA principles, patient safety, and compassionate care while adhering to department protocols. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure correct patient identification, and assist radiologists with procedures.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification is required on hire.
• BLS certification (Instructor or Basic Life Support) is required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Diagnostic Imaging exams across settings and ages.
• Evaluate images for quality and ensure proper patient identification.
• Assist Radiologist with procedures and follow ALARA principles.
• Maintain patient safety and comply with department protocols.
• Provide compassionate patient care and excellent customer service.
