Qualifications

• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce images for diagnosis and treatment.
• Obtains and documents necessary patient information or history.
• Documents all pertinent information involving IV/oral contrast in medical record.
• Begins and completes exams using RIS with 100% accuracy.
• Labels all images with patient info and technologist's initials with 100% accuracy.
• Ensures Quality Control of exams by using the PACS system.
• Applies ALARA principles to minimize radiation while producing clear images.
• Maintains licensure on an annual basis.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce images for diagnosis.
• Obtains and documents patient history to perform appropriate exams.
• Documents IV/oral contrast usage in medical records.
• Uses RIS with high accuracy and efficiency.
• Labels images with patient information and initials.
• Ensures quality control via PACS.
• Minimizes radiation exposure following ALARA.
• Willing to work off-sites as needed.
