Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Georgia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist and Imaging Supervisor. The role covers patients from newborn to elderly and may include bone density exams.

Qualifications

• Licensure or ARRT Registry: registry eligible with 1 year to prove status.
• Educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate or graduation eligible of ARRT program.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiographic equipment per specifications and produces quality radiographs.
• Follows infection control and safety practices; maintains patient records and RIS documentation.
• Coordinates with Imaging nurse; review orders; assess patient and document prep.
• Performs non-technical duties; attends department meetings; trains new staff.
