Job summary

Required completion of an approved radiologic technology program with ARRT credentials or registry eligibility within 90 days, and current state license plus BLS. Must be able to work a flexible schedule and travel between facilities.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification or registry eligible within 90 days of employment.
• Current unrestricted license in the state of practice and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to ensure accuracy.
• Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Independently operates imaging equipment per protocol.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
• Performs quality control and regulatory compliance tasks.
• Adapts care and communication to patient population and schedules
