Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure for accuracy.
• Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Operates radiographic equipment to complete imaging procedures per protocol.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Assists in department operations (inventory, schedules, equipment maintenance).
• Adapts communication and approach to patient population and privacy requirements.
• Performs other related duties as required.
