Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic exams, ensure image quality, and operate CR/DR and PACS systems. You will review orders in EMR, educate patients, and support radiology staff in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications include ARRT program graduation and High School Diploma or GED, with BLS either current or obtainable within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ARRT program with active licensing.
• High School Diploma or GED required; BLS certification or able to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures accurately and safely.
• Position patients and select appropriate technique factors.
• Operate CR/DR equipment and PACS; ensure image quality.
• Review orders in EMR/PACS and document results.
• Provide CDs of images when requested and import into PACS.
• Act as liaison between providers and radiologists; assist with questions.
