Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Part-time Radiologic Technologist II to operate radiographic equipment and assist radiologists in sterile procedures. The role covers pediatric to geriatric patient care, with a rotating shift in the radiology department.

The candidate must have ARRT certification, a state radiography license, CPR, and at least two years of post-educational experience, plus a strong communication skill set and teamwork ethos.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Science or equivalent post-secondary education required.
• Licensure: ARRT registered and current State license in radiography and mammography.
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of clinical internship and two (2) years of post-educational experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Performs general radiography and mammography and positions patients to obtain diagnostic results.
• Performs related clerical tasks such as retrieving films, filing, scheduling.
• Educates patients and families about care provided.
• Performs quality checks on equipment and ensures high-quality radiographs with minimal radiation exposure.
• Demonstrates teamwork and effective communication.
