Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England in Chicopee, MA is seeking an X-Ray Tech II to operate radiographic equipment, perform exams per radiologist specs, and assist in sterile procedures across pediatrics to geriatrics.

You will deliver high-quality imaging with safety, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the radiology team. ARRT registration, state license, associate degree and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Science or equivalent post-secondary education required.
• ARRT registered and state radiography license required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general radiography and mammography with proper patient positioning.
• Retrieves previous films, files, answers phones and schedules as needed.
• Educate patients and families about the care being provided clearly.
• Conducts quality checks on equipment and minimizes radiation dose.
