Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England in Chicopee, MA is seeking an X-Ray Tech II for part-time, day shift. You will operate radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images per radiologist specifications and assist in a range of sterile procedures across pediatric to geriatric patients.

You will position patients, perform mammography as needed, conduct quality checks, educate patients and families, and collaborate within a patient-centered, diverse team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Science or equivalent required.
• ARRT registered and state radiography license must be current for Massachusetts.
• Two years of clinical radiography experience with strong communication.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general radiography and mammography with proper patient positioning.
• Clerical tasks: retrieving films, scheduling, and filing.
• Educates patients and families about care to ensure understanding.
• Conducts quality checks on radiography equipment and images.
• Demonstrates teamwork, problem solving, and positive communication.
