Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification required.
• Radiologic technologist license in state of practice.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• MA Competency Checklist may be required for some settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Prepare patients, verify orders, and ready them for exams.
• Perform exams per protocol and review images for quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist students and colleagues in exam protocols and operation of equipment.
• Provide patient education and ensure comfort during procedures.
• Document patient information, procedures, and any adverse reactions.
