Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree not required, but preferred certifications listed.
• Experience with radiologic procedures and safety standards.
• ARRT registry and BLS requirements will apply.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enters procedural documentation and patient charges per department guidelines.
• Obtains/verifies orders from Physician offices and scans orders in imaging system.
• Adheres to JC, OSHA, ACR guidelines; uses aseptic technique and ALARA.
• Administers contrast per policy and ensures patient safety.
• Performs routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment; documents work orders.
• Maintains national certification/registry and competence with department equipment.
• Reports equipment issues and follows Safe Patient Handling protocols.
