Job summary

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs on each patient and document in the medical record.
• Assist in patient education about health maintenance and illness management.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other health care team members.
• Perform routine office procedures, testing, administering medications, and assisting providers including IV therapy.
• Initiate imaging by interpreting orders and preparing x-ray procedures; ensure sound image quality and update patient records.
• Maintain x-ray equipment, routine checks, and inventory of radiologic supplies.
