Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Maryland. This role performs routine radiographs and fluoroscopy with ARRT certification, providing safe imaging care.

A limited-time $10,000 sign-on bonus is available, and the shift runs Monday through Friday, 10:30 pm to 7:00 am. The position emphasizes patient care, teamwork, and adherence to radiation safety, with opportunities for growth and ongoing training within a mission-driven healthcare

Qualifications

Associate’s degree required; or certificate in Radiologic Technology from USDE/CHEA-accredited program
METC required
Three or more years of diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy (XR/RF) experience

Responsibilities

Operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment per physician specifications and radiographic protocols.
Adhere to radiation safety and organizational policies while providing diagnostic imaging to patients of all ages.
Support invasive procedures in the operating room using a C-Arm and/or O-Arm; ensure image quality and proper labeling.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance workflows, patient experience, quality, and safety.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and manage supplies and inventory.
Document patient care in EHR and distribute final images to PACS; communicate effectively with patients and care teams.
Uphold SPIRIT values and ARRT ethics; follow departmental policies and safety regulations.
