Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II to operate radiology equipment, assist physicians, and help deliver quality patient imaging per established protocols.

The role is part‑time (20 hours weekly) with a $5,000 sign‑on bonus, on‑site at Lombard, IL, and opportunities for professional growth, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits.

You will explain procedures to patients, maintain safety standards, and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred with IEMA licensure eligibility.
• AR RT(R) certification candidate required within 2 years of temporary license.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification required.

• Operate radiology equipment to produce radiographs per protocol.
• Assist physicians and staff with imaging using PACS/HIS.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and build trust.

Hourly Pay Range

$29.68 - $46.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

SIGN-ON BONUS: $5,000 Position: Radiologic Technologist II 130 S Main Street, Lombard, IL Will assist in floating to other locations: Addison, Hinsdale, Center for Health (Elmhurst) and Oak Park Part‑Time, 20 hours weekly

Hours: Monday-Friday, 12pm to 8pm, on-call schedule, rotating weekends & holidays

What you will do

• Operates a variety of radiology equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes as directed by the Radiologists, in accordance with established protocols.
• Assists physicians and other clinical staff with obtaining images and other records using the Radiology PACS or hospital information systems.
• Explains procedure to patients, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
• Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects of job.

What you will need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate’s degree, preferred IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure or “notice of IEMA compliance and authorization to perform medical radiation”
• At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) certification (i.e., Certificate of Program Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director of the accredited school.). Required within 2yrs of temporary license date.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
• Preferred: Prior x-ray experience in a hospital setting
• Knowledge of all current American College of Radiology (ACR)/JCAHO requirements to maintain compliance with all rules and regulations
