Endeavor Health is hiring a Radiologic Technologist II in Lombard, IL for part-time 20 hours weekly with 12pm–8pm hours and on-call rotation including weekends/holidays. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• IEMA licensure or notice of compliance to perform medical radiation.
• Candidate for ARRT(R) certification to be completed within 2 years of temporary license.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) from American Heart Association.
• Knowledge of ARRT/JCAHO requirements and hospital radiology standards.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiology equipment to produce radiographs per established protocols.
• Assists physicians and staff with obtaining images and records using PACS/IRIS.
• Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and build trust.
• Delivers and ensures quality customer service in all aspects of the job.

Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$29.68 - $46.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• SIGN-ON BONUS: $5,000
• Position: Radiologic Technologist II
• Location: 130 S Main Street, Lombard, IL
• Will assist in floating to other locations: Addison, Hinsdale, Center for Health (Elmhurst) and Oak Park
• Part-Time, 20 hours weekly
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 12pm to 8pm, on-call schedule, rotating weekends & holidays

What you will do:

Operates a variety of radiology equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes as directed by the Radiologists, in accordance with established protocols. Assists physicians and other clinical staff with obtaining images and other records using the Radiology PACS or hospital information systems. Explains procedure to patients, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects of job.

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate's degree, preferred
• IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure or "notice of IEMA compliance and authorization to perform medical radiation"
• At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) certification (i.e., Certificate of Program Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director of the accredited school.). Required within 2yrs of temporary license date.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
• Preferred: Prior x-ray experience in a hospital setting Knowledge of all current American College of Radiology (ACR)/JCAHO requirements to maintain compliance with all rules and regulations
