Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II to operate radiology equipment and generate diagnostic images under radiologists' supervision, adhering to established protocols.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates radiology equipment to produce radiographs as directed by Radiologists per established protocols.
• Assists physicians and staff with obtaining images and records using Radiology PACS or hospital information systems.
• Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and build trust.
• Delivers excellent customer service in all aspects of the job.

Hourly Pay Range: $29.68 - $46.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Sign-on Bonus: $1,000
• Position: Radiologic Technologist II
• Location: 24600 W 128th Street, Plainfield, IL
• Floating Locations: 1331 W 75th Street, Naperville & 3329 75th Street, Woodridge
• Per Diem/PRN Hours: various shifts available, on-call schedule, rotating weekends & holidays

What you will do

• Operates a variety of radiology equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes as directed by the Radiologists, in accordance with established protocols.
• Assists physicians and other clinical staff with obtaining images and other records using the Radiology PACS or hospital information sys tems.
• Explains procedure to patients, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
• Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects of job.

What you will need

• High School Diploma or GED Associate's degree, preferred IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure or "notice of IEMA compliance and authorization to perform medical radiation"
• At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) certification (i.e., Certificate of Program Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director of the accredited school.). Required within 2yrs of temporary license date.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
• Preferred: Prior x-ray experience in a hospital setting
• Knowledge of all current American College of Radiology (ACR)/JCAHO requirements to maintain compliance with all rules and regulations
