Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II at Edward Hospital. This full-time role offers 40 hours weekly with a 3pm–11:30pm shift and on-call rotation including weekends and holidays. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available, with pay range $31.46–$48.76 per hour based on experience.

You will operate radiology equipment, assist physicians, explain procedures to patients, and ensure high-quality imaging and customer service in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; an Associate’s Degree or higher is preferred.
• License: Illinois IEMA licensure.
• Certifications: ARRT eligibility and CPR (BLS) required; ARRT(R) candidacy.
• Experience: Knowledge of ACR/JCAHO requirements; prior x-ray in a surgical environment.

• Operates radiology equipment to produce radiographs per protocol.
• Assists physicians and clinical staff with films and records via PACS/HIS.
• Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and build trust.
• Delivers high-quality customer service in all aspects of the job.

$31.46 - $48.76 — The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

What you will do

• Operates a variety of radiology equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes as directed by the Radiologists, in accordance to established protocols.


• Assists physicians and other clinical staff with obtaining films, images, and other records using the Radiology PACS or hospital information systems.


• Explains procedure to patients, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.


• Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects of job.

What you will need

• Education: High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher, preferred


• License: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure


• Certifications: Certificate of Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director from the Radiology School attended. Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross. At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) certification (i.e., Certificate of Program Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director of the accredited school.)


• Experience: Knowledge of all current American College of Radiology(ACR)/JCAHO requirements in order to maintain compliance with all rules and regulations. Prior x-ray experience in a surgical environment, required.
