Responsibilities
  • Performs complete diagnostic radiography procedures on patients according to departmental protocols under the supervision of the Medical Director and Director of Imaging Services.
  • Prepares and maintains equipment to ensure it is operational, safe, and functioning according to diagnostic standards.
  • Performs daily equipment and room maintenance, ensuring infection control standards are met.
  • Completes quality checks and maintains equipment logs.
  • Manages clinical supply inventories to ensure all necessary supplies are available for procedures.
  • Participates in patient testing, including urgent, routine, and OR procedures requiring radiographic support.
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology Program.
  • Licensure/Certification: Registered with ARRT(R), licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) with the Texas Medical Board, BLS certification through AHA.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience.
