*Responsibilities*

  1. Operate radiology equipment to produce imaging films as directed by physicians.
  2. Perform radiographic and cardiopulmonary procedures for diagnosis and treatment, including specialized procedures like venography, myelography, and gastrointestinal exams.
  3. Produce diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by physicians or radiologists.
  4. Position patients and adjust equipment for optimal imaging following established procedures.
  5. Examine radiology films and digital exams for quality properties such as density, contrast, and distortion.
  6. Take X-rays of various body parts to diagnose diseases or injuries.
  7. Follow safety principles and radiation protection guidelines while ensuring patient comfort and care.
  8. Record test results and monitor patient data accurately.
  9. Maintain radiographic logs and documentation of exams, patient details, and retake reasons.
  10. Maintain departmental records to comply with state and federal regulations.
  11. File and manage shipping and receiving logs for radiographs and tests.
  12. Keep current MSDS forms for the radiology department.
  13. Calibrate and maintain X-ray equipment.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.

*Pay Range*

$20.86 - $29.46 per hour
