Job summary

La Palma Intercommunity Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with department protocols and regulatory requirements. You will serve as the first line interface with patients and colleagues, participate in PI/QC activities, and ensure timely processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

• Must have current CRT issued by CDPH.
• Must obtain fluoroscopy permit by CDPH within 6 months of hire.
• Venipuncture preferred.
• ARRT-R is required.
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES.
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols and regulations.
• Functions as the first line interface with customers and assists imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/QC activities.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
