Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as Radiologic Technologist; hospital experience preferred.
• Graduate of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Current California CRT license required; ARRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures for inpatients and outpatients.
• Verify orders, patient identity, and procedure accuracy before imaging.
• Obtain patient histories and prioritize imaging needs.
• Position patients and operate radiographic equipment for quality images.
• Adhere to ALARA and imaging protocols for safety.
• Process, label and transmit images for radiologist interpretation.
• Educate patients about imaging procedures and provide clear instructions.
• Monitor patient condition and assist radiologists as needed.
• Assist with transport, positioning, and mobility of patients.
• Maintain imaging equipment, supplies and exam rooms.
• Participate in quality improvement, infection prevention and education.
• Assist with orientation and cross-training of staff and students.
