Job summary

La Palma Intercommunity Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced acute-care setting. You will collaborate with radiologists and the multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality results and support image processing and transmission to PACS.

The role requires knowledge of radiology equipment, a JRCERT-accredited program, and current nuclear medicine licensure.

Qualifications

One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment preferred.
Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, ARRT or NMTCB Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
Current BCLS (AHA) required.

Responsibilities

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging.
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
