Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with mammography experience to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental policy. The role includes quality control, strict regulatory compliance, and collaboration with imaging teams to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

Required are a two-year Radiologic Technology program, CPR, and ARRT Mammography registration; Delaware licensure is expected where applicable.

Qualifications

• Two-year accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Mammography certification within 2 years of hire when applicable.
• ARRT Mammography Registration required for mammography procedures; grace period if non-certified.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency in radiographic equipment and related systems.
• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures and quality control per department guidelines.
• Maintains compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and Joint Commission standards.
• Enter patient study information accurately into clinical systems.
• Assist with coordinating workflow and patient care activities.
• Obtain clinical history and consent for examinations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and use 3 identifiers.
• Support learning for students and new staff.
• Collaborate with imaging, clinicians, nursing and others to ensure patient satisfaction.
