Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures with strong anatomical positioning knowledge across adult and pediatric patients. You will work with state-of-the-art imaging equipment to support diagnosis and treatment planning.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registration (or within 6 months), SC Radiation Quality Standards licensure, and BLS.

As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist at MUSC, you have access to state-of-the-art imaging equipment to capture detailed X-ray images, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment planning for a wide range of medical conditions across 16 community hospitals including 3 level 1 trauma centers and many unique outpatient clinics across South Carolina. Experience: 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience.

Credentials

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), If not registered must obtain the registry within 6 months of hire.
• Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHArecognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
