Location : Providence Medical Center – Kansas City, KS

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologis t I , internally referred to as our Radiology Tech I . The Rad Tech I will be conducting diagnostic X-ray procedures. This involves operating X-ray equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. An important role in assisting healthcare providers by producing high‑quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans for our patients . This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PD/PRN as needed .

Responsibilities

• C onduct diagnostic imaging procedures such as radiography, CT scans, mammography, bone density tests, ultrasound, and other examinations following departmental protocols
• R esponsible for ensuring that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed
• I nteract with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations
• M aintain accurate records of X-ray procedures, including patient information, images, and relevant medical history
• S tay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certification

Qualifications

• Registered in the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State of Kansas RT licensure, or temporary permit issued by KS State Board of Healing Arts upon hire
• ARRT-R is required
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (AHA)
• Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program required, JRCERT accreditation preferred
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred
• Proficient computer skills
