Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care in New York seeks a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team. You will operate X-ray equipment, verify patient identity, and perform radiologic exams following safety protocols in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

We offer competitive pay starting at $31 per hour, a sign-on bonus up to $20,000, generous PTO, medical benefits, 401(k) with company match, CME reimbursement, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or current student near graduation.
• Active ARRT certification and state licensure as required by state.
• Attention to detail, patient safety, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down all X-Ray equipment
• Proper identification of patient and confirmation of examination
• Prepares patients for radiological procedures and conducts x-rays following safety procedures
• Obtains detailed history and notes observations during radiologic examination
• Use radiation protection and shielding materials
• Ensure equipment functioning and report malfunctions
• Complete radiologic procedures in EMR and assist with billing
• Obtain pre-authorization for CT scans
• Verify exam in PACS and update patient chart
• Assist with triage and general team duties
