Job summary

The CORE Institute in Sun City, AZ seeks an Radiologic Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging. You will perform radiographs, educate patients, and maintain their EMR and PACS files, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.

Qualified applicants have a state license and BMO certification; 1+ year in a clinical patient setting is preferred. The role emphasizes professional demeanor and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Valid state license and BMO certification.
• 1+ year of experience in clinical patient setting preferred.
• EMR system knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner
• Produce quality radiographs to assist in diagnosis
• Educate patients regarding the procedure
• Create and maintain patient EMR
• Provide patients with copies of the images upon request
• Ensure images are in the PACS system
• Maintain quality control checks to ensure X-ray unit meets laws, rules, and departmental policies
• Clean, maintain, and make minor adjustments to radiographic equipment, including determining repairs needed to equipment
• Protect patient and other personnel from radiation hazards
• Maintain radiographic supplies

Job description

• Monthly $43 stipend to use toward ancillary benefits

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 or more years of experience in clinical patient setting preferred
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system knowledge helpful
• Valid state license and BMO certification

Preferred :

• Previous experience working as an BMO preferred

Essential Functions

• Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner

• Educate patients regarding the procedure
• Create and maintain patient electronic medical record (EMR)
• Provide patients with copies of the images upon request
• Ensure images are in the PACS system
• Maintain quantity and quality control checks to assure X-ray unit meets standards required by laws, rules, and departmental policies.
• Clean, maintain, and make minor adjustments to radiographic equipment, including determining repairs needed to equipment.
• Protect patient and other personnel from radiation hazards
• Maintain radiographic supplies
