Job summary

The CORE Institute is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join the patient care team in Sun City, AZ. You will perform radiographic procedures, educate patients about the process, and maintain accurate electronic medical records and image management in PACS.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year clinical experience, EMR familiarity, and a valid state license with BMO certification. This role emphasizes patient care, safety, and quality imaging across our orthopedic programs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a clinical patient setting preferred.
• EMR system knowledge helpful.
• Valid state license and BMO certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner.
• Produce quality radiographs to assist in diagnosis.
• Educate patients regarding the procedure.
• Create and maintain patient EMR.
• Provide patients with copies of images upon request.
• Ensure images are in the PACS system.
• Maintain quality checks to ensure X-ray unit meets standards.
• Clean, maintain and make minor adjustments to radiographic equipment.
• Protect patients and personnel from radiation hazards.
• Maintain radiographic supplies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 or more years of experience in clinical patient setting preferred

Essential Functions

• Ensure images are in the PACS system
• Maintain quantity and quality control checks to assure X-ray unit meets standards required by laws, rules, and departmental policies.
• Clean, maintain, and make minor adjustments to radiographic equipment, including determining repairs needed to equipment.
• Protect patient and other personnel from radiation hazards
• Maintain radiographic supplies
