Job summary

The CORE Institute in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with ARRT certification and current state licensure. You will ensure patient safety, proper positioning, and high-quality exams while maintaining infection control and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities include educating patients, operating equipment, and supporting QA programs. CPR certification is required; prior radiology experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT certification and an active state license.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient and exam and document history.
• Position patients and set up radiographic equipment for high-quality images.
• Maintain infection control standards and safe practices.
• Educate patients about procedures and information.
• Operate radiology equipment and ensure proper cassette/grid use.
• Stock supplies and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Provide professional patient care and confidentiality.
• Support quality assurance programs and participate in trainings.
• Assist Radiologist with Arthrogram procedures and sterile technique.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Education

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology

ARRT Certification

Current State licensure

Qualifications

• Completion of AssociatesEprogram in Radiologic Technology or Certification from a Credentialled Radiology School, with ARRT Certification.
• Minimum of one year of previous experience.
• Current State and ARRT licensure.
• Current CPR certification.

Essential Functions

• Correctly identifies patient and corresponding exam. Obtains and documents patient history.
• Demonstrates proper positioning, radiographic techniques, and cassette screen/grid combinations to ensure high quality examinations.
• Practice standard precautions and maintain infection control standards.
• Educate patient regarding procedures and related information.
• Properly operate equipment as demonstrated by observation and audit.
• Cleans equipment and stocks supplies as needed.
• Demonstrate cooperative, positive and professional patient care and customer service.
• Consistently maintain complete confidentiality of all medical, financial, employee, computer or other sensitive material which may jeopardize the privacy of others.
• Perform and support quality assurance/CQI programs and processes.
• Demonstrate commitment to organizational goals.
• Attend all mandatory in-services and training.
• Assist the Radiologist with Arthrogram procedures. Must demonstrate appropriate sterile procedure skills.
• Performs any other duties assigned.
