Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking Radiologic Technologists for Express Care locations (Newton and Brookline). New graduates and experienced techs are welcome, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus. The role offers flexible scheduling in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (certificate or diploma required).
  • Current Radiologic Technologist license or eligibility to obtain before start.
  • ARRT certification preferred.
  • No prior experience required; new grads welcome.
  • English reading/writing proficiency required.

  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients to explain exams and procedures.
  • Verify patient identity, orders, and relevant clinical history.
  • Operate imaging equipment and adjust settings to ensure high-quality images.
  • Document and transmit images through PACS systems.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and care teams.
  • Contribute to a team-based environment while also working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (certificate or diploma required)

Licensure & Certification

  • Current Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start) required
  • ARRT (R.T.) certification preferred or eligible

Experience
No prior experience required - new grads welcome!

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must effectively use interpersonal skills to deal with patients and fellow employees who may be under physical and/or emotional stress. Maintains composure at all times.
  • Excellent attention to detail, written, and communication skills; must be able to read and write in English.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, principles of radiation physics, ALARA, radiographic equipment and positioning.
  • Must be physically capable of lifting a minimum of 40 lbs (i.e., linen, supplies, patients).
  • Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to emergency and infection control situations.
  • Displays a positive attitude and professional appearance; exemplifies flexibility and willingness to adapt to the operational needs of the department and MGB.
  • Board eligible through the American Board of Radiology.
