Job summary

UAB Medicine’s Emergency Department at the North Pavilion is expanding, and we’re hiring radiologic professionals to join the team. Under the direction of a Radiologist and Imaging Manager, you will perform radiologic procedures and help deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Minimum requirements include ARRT-certified radiography graduates, active registration or within 12 months of hire, and ability to work independently with sound judgment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Radiography program accredited by ARRT.
• Currently registered as an RT (ARRT) or eligible within 1 year of hire.
• If certification isn’t obtained within 1 year, an additional 180 days may be allowed.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures under the Radiologist and Imaging Manager.
• Operate imaging equipment with independent judgment and initiative.
• May assume interim supervisory or instructor duties as assigned.
