Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is expanding its Emergency Department and is hiring Radiologic Technologists to perform radiologic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist and Imaging Manager at the North Pavilion location.

Candidates must graduate from an ARRT-accredited Radiography program and be registered or eligible for RT(ARRT) within 1 year. The role offers full-time shifts in a vibrant academic health system with extensive training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Radiography program accredited by ARRT.
• Currently registered as RT(ARRT) by ARRT or eligible within 1 year of hire.
• If certification is not obtained within 1 year, an additional period up to 180 days may be allowed.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures under supervision of a Radiologist and Imaging Manager.
• Independently judge and apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
• May assume interim supervisor or instructor duties as assigned.
