Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures for patients of all ages, under supervision of a Radiologist or Manager. The role emphasizes ALARA exposure minimization and high-quality imaging.

You will ensure proper patient identification, safety, and aseptic technique, while delivering compassionate patient-centered care and collaborating with radiology team to support accurate diagnoses.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required upon hire.
• BLS (Instructor or Standard) certification required upon hire.
• Excellent patient/customer service skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging and ALARA to minimize exposure.
• Performs Diagnostic Imaging exams and evaluates image quality.
• Provides optimal patient care and supports patient-family centered care.
• Applies patient safety principles and responds to emergencies.
• Follows aseptic technique and hand-washing policies.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Other duties as assigned and complies with policies.
