Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform a wide range of Diagnostic Imaging procedures across ages. The tech works under supervision of a Radiologist or Manager to provide high-quality data for diagnosis.

Role requires ARRT-R certification and adherence to ALARA, patient safety, and aseptic techniques, with a strong focus on compassionate, patient-family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R certification required by hire; BLS certification required as listed.
• Ability to operate Diagnostic Imaging equipment and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform Diagnostic Imaging exams across age groups and settings.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure proper patient identification.
• Adhere to ALARA and patient safety principles in all procedures.
• Assist Radiologist with procedures and protocols as needed.
• Follow department protocols and complete other duties as assigned.
