Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures for patients of all ages, supporting physicians with high‑quality data. The role works under the direction of a Radiologist or Manager and emphasizes ALARA principles to minimize exposure.

You will ensure image quality, assist with procedures, maintain patient safety, and uphold aseptic techniques.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support certification (Instructor or equivalent) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Imaging exams in various settings with attention to ALARA principles.
• Evaluates image quality and ensures proper patient identification and post-processing.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols and adheres to aseptic technique and handwashing policies.
• Maintains patient safety and responds appropriately to emergencies.
• Provides excellent patient and customer service and communicates effectively with patients and staff.
• Follows Wellstar Health System policies and standards of work.
• Other duties as assigned.
