• Graduation and registration requirements: JRCERT-approved radiologic program; ARRT registration or eligibility; registration within one year of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Provides imaging services for patients of all ages and communicates clearly with patients and families.
• Follows I Care principles for correct exam identification and patient engagement.
• Adheres to safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe radiology environment and minimal radiation exposure.
• Maintains patient satisfaction by applying AIDET techniques and collaborating with other departments.
• Practices radiation safety and dose reduction; administers contrast/medications per policy.
• Supervises student technologists and new staff and coordinates with radiologists and physicians.
