DCH Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures across modalities with a focus on patient safety and quality exams. The role requires ARRT radiography certification and BLS, with capacity to train or supervise students as needed.

The technologist will work under supervision, maintain equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and provide imaging services to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of JRCERT approved school of radiologic technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in radiography; certification must be obtained within one year of hire date.
• BLS required.
• Must be able to read, write legibly, speak and comprehend English.

Responsabilités

• Perform imaging procedures in their area of expertise across modalities as assigned.
• Ensure patient safety and provide care to patients of all ages.
• Follow AIDET principles and communicate effectively with patients, families and staff.
• Maintain equipment, supplies and quality control of imaging exams.
• Instruct and supervise radiology students as assigned.
• Transport patients and assist during imaging procedures as appropriate.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide safe patient care.
