Job summary

University of Rochester Imaging Penfield MRI/Ortho in Canandaigua, NY is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray exams safely and efficiently, maintain image quality, and support radiologists. • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality X-ray images by conducting exams in a safe and efficient manner.
• Verifies and follows referring providers' orders while remaining in compliance with department policies.
• Has knowledge of human anatomy, x-ray positioning, and use of immobilization devices when warranted.
• Receives training and supervision to perform required tasks.
• Performs general studies safely and efficiently, completes all paper and computer work, and provides high quality images for interpretation.
