Salina Regional Health Center, Inc. is seeking a CT/Diagnostic Technologist in Abilene, Kansas. The role requires producing radiographs for various patient populations while ensuring superior customer service. The ideal candidate will operate radiology equipment, explain procedures, and interact with patients to obtain optimum imaging results.
Qualifications include a degree from an AMA approved school, ARRT license, CT certification, and CPR certification within the first 90 days. The position offers variable shifts, day or night, on an as-needed basis.
The CT/Diagnostic Technologist produces radiographs of designated anatomical areas as order/directed, according to established practices and procedures on all patient populations (infant through geriatric). The CT/Diagnostic Technologist will exhibit superior levels of customer service. The CT/Diagnostic technologist effectively operates equipment to produce quality images in a variety of settings (Radiology Department, Operating Room, and the Emergency Department. The technologist explains procedures to the patient, demonstrates and uses appropriate protocols and obtains optimum images of specified anatomy. The technologist demonstrates effective radiation safety practices and assists the Radiologist, when necessary. The technologist interacts with numerous computer programs and systems on a daily basis.
Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
One-year hospital experience preferred but not required
American Registry of Radiology (ARRT) license
CT Certification or CT experience
Kansas License for Radiology Technology (LRT)
CPR certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support [American Red Cross-CPR for the Professional Rescuer] or Basic Life Support [American Heart Association-Health Care Provider] obtained within first 90 days of employment
Schedule-Shift-Hours PRN - As Needed - Varied Shifts - Sunday-Saturday day or night shift
