Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• One year experience preferred.
• Kansas License for Radiology Technology.
• Basic Life Support certification accepted from ARC CPR/AED or AHA, or completed within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging in a clinic setting with strong customer service.
• Explain procedures and answer patient questions.
• Position patients to obtain optimum views of anatomy.
• Adjust equipment to proper protocol per guidelines.
• Assist clinic physicians as needed.
• Interact with multiple computer systems daily.

Job description

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic/therapeutic examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. The technologist performs diagnostic imaging effectively on patient populations served in the clinic setting and exhibits superior levels of customer service. The technologist explains procedures and answers questions for the patient. The technologist demonstrates appropriate patient positioning to obtain optimum views of specified anatomy. The technologist adjusts equipment controls to set proper protocol based on knowledge of the procedure and established guidelines. The technologist assists the clinic physicians, when necessary. The technologist interacts with numerous computer programs and systems on a daily basis.

Position Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology
• One year experience preferred

Required Registration/License/Certification

• Kansas License for Radiology Technology
• Basic Life Support certification will be accepted from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider), or successfully completes within the first 90 days of employment.

Schedule

• PRN - As Needed - Varied Shifts - Friday 8:00-12:00p as needed. Variable Monday - Friday
