Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff in Salina, Kansas seeks a CT Radiologic Tech for a 13-week contract to perform CT scans and support patient care.

The CT Technologist will operate CT equipment, explain procedures to patients, and ensure radiation safety while collaborating with the Radiology team.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT license and Kansas LRT.
• CT Certification or CT experience.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of 1 year hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce CT radiographs of designated anatomical areas as ordered.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain consent when required.
• Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and assist Radiologist as needed.
• Utilize computer systems and PACS to document and store images.

Description:The CT Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas as ordered or directed.The technologist will exhibit superior levels of customer service.The technologist effectively operates CT equipment to produce quality images in a variety of settings.The technologist explains procedures to the patient, demonstrates and uses appropriate protocols, and obtains optimum images of specified anatomy.The technologist demonstrates effective radiation safety practices and assists the Radiologist when necessary.The technologist interacts with numerous computer programs and systems daily.
