Job summary

Columbus Regional Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our Imaging Services Department in Indiana. The role is 32 hours per week, 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with holidays and on-call rotation.

Base hourly rate is $35.05, with compensation determined by experience and with eligible shift premiums; a comprehensive benefits program is available. ARRT certification and BLS are required, with Indiana license conditions noted.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent degree, completion of a military radiology program or completion of a hospital based radiology program; ARRT approval required.
• One year of practical experience as Radiologic Technologist or equivalent.
• Graduate working under a valid Student Rad Tech license: must maintain a valid X-Ray Machine Operators License from the Indiana State Department of Health within 6 months post-graduation.
• Current Registration from ARRT required within 90 days post-graduation; CE credits must be maintained.
• Registered Computer Tomography (CT) with ARRT required within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Job description

What you need to know about this position:

• Broad Imaging Services Department, that performs an average of 80,000 exams per year and offering CT Scan, MRI, PET Scan, Ultra Sound, Nuclear Medicine and all digital X-Ray.
• Our Imaging Services Department supports Inpatient, Outpatient and Emergency Departments.
• The base hourly rate for this position is $35.05. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
• The shift for this position will be 32 hours per week, working 8 hours per day, 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with a holiday and on-call rotation.

What is required for this position:

• Associates Degree or equivalent degree, completion of a military radiology program or completion of a hospital based radiology program required. Any and all must be approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• One year of practical experience as a Radiologic Technologist or equivalent is required
• Graduate working under a valid Student Rad Tech license: Must maintain a valid X-Ray Machine Operators License from the Indiana State Department of Health within 6 months post-graduation
• Current Registration from ARRT required within 90 days post-graduation, required CE credits must be maintained in accordance with accrediting bodies requirements
• Registered Computer Tomography (CT) with AART required within 12 months of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
