Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast material, monitors for allergic reactions, and ensures patient safety and comfort.
• Assists with inventory, verifies patient and procedure details, and documents accurately.
• Performs sterile procedures, maintains a sterile field, and pulls supplies as needed.
• Works under supervision of physicists or dosimetrists, with responsibilities including assisting in instruction of staff and performing on-call duties.
• Demonstrates patient assessment, effective communication, manual dexterity, and understanding of specialized tools and techniques.

They assist physicians during complex interventions such as cardiac catheterizations, structural heart procedures (e.g., TAVR, Watchman), and hybrid vascular surgeries (e.g., EVAR, TCAR).

• Administers contrast material, monitors for allergic reactions, and ensures patient safety and comfort.
• Assists with inventory, verifies patient and procedure details, and documents accurately.
• Performs sterile procedures, maintains a sterile field, and pulls supplies as needed.
• Works under supervision of physicists or dosimetrists, with responsibilities including assisting in instruction of staff and performing on-call duties.
• Possesses skills in patient assessment, effective communication, manual dexterity, and understanding of specialized tools and techniques.
  

Qualifications include an Associate's Degree or completion certificate in Radiologic Technology, ARRT registration, state licensure, and ACLS certification within one year. The role requires the ability to learn procedures, follow detailed instructions, and demonstrate compassion. The position involves working variable shifts, including on-call duties, to support department needs.
