Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray exams using state-of-the-art imaging equipment across MUSC facilities in South Carolina. You will contribute to diagnostic imaging and patient care across 16 community hospitals and multiple clinics.

The role requires ARRT registration (or obtain within 6 months), SC Radiation Quality Standards licensure, and current BLS. Experience is not required beyond 0–2 years in modality-specific work.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); if not registered must obtain the registry within 6 months of hire.
• Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.

Radiologic Technology roles at MUSC are some of the most diverse, offering access to many different specialties as well as world class radiologists and providers.

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registration

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.

Experience: 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience.

Required Registration/Certification: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), If not registered must obtain the registry within 6 months of hire.

Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
