Job Responsibilities
- Act as a customer advocate and support patients and families.
- Respond quickly to parent requests and concerns and provide education/information.
- Communicate with patients, families, and staff in a courteous manner.
- Provide emotional support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies, guidelines, and accreditation standards.
- Maintain compliance with CCHMC Core Standards and code of ethics.
- Maintain organized, safe, effective work areas.
- Prepare patients and families for procedures/examinations.
- Conduct procedures/examinations following protocols.
- Obtain, review, and facilitate exchange of patient information.
- Maintain currency with continuing education, conferences, and in‑services.
- Implement new knowledge/skills into work and department; pursue professional development.
- Participate in internal/external professional committees.
- Function as an imaging technologist in diagnostic imaging; coordinate patient care and communication.
- Work closely with Radiology department and other departments across hospital and outpatient sites.
Job Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
- 0+ years of related work experience.
- Registered ARRT (R) or eligible within 6 months of hire.
- Licensed by Ohio Department of Health within 30 days of eligibility.

- Weekly Hours: 32.
- Expected Starting Pay Range: $27.50 - $30.75 annualized.
