Job summary

MobilexUSA in Saint Joseph, MO, is seeking a radiology technologist to operate portable radiography equipment for home, facility, and related settings. You will drive a company vehicle, perform X-ray exams, and sometimes EKGs under physician orders.

Valid ARRT certification and applicable state licenses are required, plus a valid driver’s license. Illinois licensure must be obtained if not already held; company reimbursement is provided. Shift times and pay range are posted in the job overview.

• Newly registered/licensed technologists strongly encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Operating portable (DR) radiology equipment to produce diagnostic quality images for Radiologist interpretation.
• Driving company vehicle with radiology equipment to various locations (nursing homes, assisted livings, jails, and/or patients' own homes) to perform various x-ray exams as ordered by the physician
• Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. (if required)
• Obtain and scan required exam related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol.
• Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
• Communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
• Maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment.
• Technologist must care for their equipment in a professional manner.
• Perform special projects or other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

Shift 1: Monday - Friday 9:00AM until 5:30PM
Shift 2: Monday - Thursday 10:00AM until 6:30PM
Pay Range: $30.00-$37.00 Based on Experience

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operating portable (DR) radiology equipment to produce diagnostic quality images for Radiologist interpretation.
