Job summary

Trident Care in Kansas City is seeking a Mobile Radiology Technologist to perform portable DR x-ray exams at nursing facilities, jails, and patients’ homes, following physician orders.

You will drive the company vehicle to diverse locations, ensure image quality for radiologists, and may perform EKGs when needed while maintaining clear documentation and coordination with dispatch. ARRT and state licenses are required; Illinois licensure is reimbursed for those willing to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Maintains ARRT Certification and required State licenses.
• Valid driver’s license in applicable state.
• IL licensure required or willing to obtain with reimbursement.
• Newly registered/licensed technologists encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate portable DR radiology equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Travel using company vehicle to nursing homes, jails, and patients’ homes.
• Perform EKGs when needed and transmit to Cardiologist.
• Obtain and scan exam paperwork and billing documents daily.
• Communicate with dispatch, management, peers and clients.
• Maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment; handle equipment carefully.

Full Time Shift- Monday-Friday
Pay Range: $30.00-$34.00 Based on Experience

$7500.00 SIGN-ON BONUS$$

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operating portable (DR) radiology equipment to produce diagnostic quality images for Radiologist interpretation.
• Driving company vehicle with radiology equipment to various locations (nursing homes, assisted livings, jails, and/or patients’ own homes) to perform various x-ray exams as ordered by the physician
• Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. (if required)
• Obtain and scan required exam related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol.
• Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
• Communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
• Maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment.
• Technologist must care for their equipment in a professional manner.
• Perform special projects or other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

REQUIRED LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION:

• Maintain ARRT Certification and required State licenses, health requirements, operational requirements.
• Valid driver’s license in the applicable state
• Maintain Driver’s license in good standing at all times
• Newly registered/licensed technologists strongly encouraged to apply
• Illinois licensure is required for this position. If you dont already have it, you must be willing to obtain. Company will reimburse.
